As a musician/producer I started out working with The Prunes, later on Pelding and XtraaNaan. From 2007 I have released 5 solo albums. I have done stuff with and for Beastie Boys, Mo Wax, Grand Royal, Oh Land, NinjaTune, Dj Krush feat. The Roots, Jonas Bjerre (MEW), Coco (Quadron), Tue Track, Malk De Koijn and many others. Below are links to my solo albums and other releases by my label Lizardshakedown (a label started by me and Tue Track72 (from Malk De Koin). Well to be honest it’s not a real label, but just a name I use when I release my own stuff or help my friends out with their releases. Please don’t send demos as I dont have time to listen to them and most certainly wont release them as I am horrible at label business work.

Asger Baden & Peder Furcula Episode 1

Peder and Asger Baden work as film composers on a daily basis at their townhouse studio in central Copenhagen. Whenever they have some off time they work on Furcula. The music is based on the acoustic colours of two very different rooms: The Village (large orchestral studio in Copenhagen) and Vor Frue Kirke - the biggest church in Denmark which features a reverb of over 7 seconds. All sounds, instruments and samples are recorded in these two rooms and used as samples in the studio to create the music. The result is the depth and contrast between the huge reverb and very close textures that feel as though they're right next to you, scratching your skin. The result is ghostly, dark, cinematic and beautiful.

Peder Come With Me

4th solo album which returns to the crunchy, dirty vibe of his award winning debut album And He Pointed to the Sky, but with ties to a David Lynchian vibe and French fairytales. Singing myself once again – but then again not really. Cause besides the Original version of the album an additional “Guest Version” has been released. The Guest Version features Peder’s Danish favorite singers, singing the exact same songs and the record is a strange metaphysical copy of the original with only the voices changed. Guests include Coco from Quadron, Jonas Bjerre from MEW, Oh Land, Jacob Bellens and Sleep Party People amongst others.

The Crooked Spoke The One You Left Behind

Behind The Crooked Spoke are Asger Baden (keyboards and more) and Peter Leth (drums and more). The guys met ten years ago through Copenhagen’s tight-knit music community and have played together in various constellations until The Crooked Spoke was born.
The debut album has gotten great reviews in the national danish press and regular airplay on France’s Radio Nova as well as Gilles Petersons BBC Radio 1 show.
Working from a tiny studio in Copenhagen’s gritty North West quarter, The One You Left Behind was entirely self-produced by the duo who made the majority of the recordings. But they did get help from a number of prominent collaborators including Claus Hempler, whose smooth and timeless vocals grace the album’s title song. The singer Maria Laurette Friis (Tys Tys) contributes her unforgettable voice to the track Black Tower Hotel.
